Plan A All-the-Way

Whatever success looks like to you—do you really want it?

It’s a bigger question than it seems at face value.

Because wanting success means shutting the back door on all the ways you’ve been hedging your bets.

I joined a mastermind for speakers this week. After breakouts, one group came back and said, “We’re calling ourselves “All About Plan A” because that’s the only plan we’re committed to.”🎉

Plan A is what they want most. 

Their biggest desire can only be met by following Plan A.

And you can’t be all in on Plan A if your brain is still sneaking around, trying to get you out the back door.

Trust me, I’ve tried every escape route.

“Maybe I should just get a real job” is only the tip of the iceberg of thoughts that show up to escort me out of Plan A on the regular.

But what am I actually afraid of?

Not failing—I’m good with that. I fail a lot these days running my own business.

The fear that’s finally here for me: My fear of success.

What happens if Plan A actually works?

There was a time when that fear made sense, because I had a hidden beliefs — 

• A belief that I need rescuing.

• A belief that I can't survive without someone keeping me safe.

• A belief that if I appeared brave, I wouldn't be loved.

Whoa, right?

But here’s the thing. Those are young fears. My 55-year-old self doesn't need rescuing. 

Fear of success is showing up now because it senses my desire to go all in on my Plan A.

It knows that I’m not giving in or giving up.

So it's pushing harder against my Plan A desires—and that's creating some resistance. 

And what do I teach? 🔥How to unstick that resistance.

Because the future is coming fast, and today is the day to start showing up for it.

Whatever your Plan A is… OWN IT.

Plan A is nerve-wracking, uncomfortable, terrifying at times.
