Hi Brave Creator! I am the author of Braving Creativity, Artists Who Turn the Scary, Thrilling, Messy Path of Change into Courageous Transformation (Manuscript LLC).

Like many creatives, my path has had its twists and turns! But the biggest change came when, at forty four my husband died.

Before then, I had a two decades long career in executive-level fundraising and planning in the non-profit arts arena, and a masters in Performance Studies from NYU. Three years before my husband died, I co-founded of my own non-profit presenting organization for mid-career artists.

The time after his death was spent tending to my family’s grief and rewriting the beliefs and stories I had about change.

During Covid, I was ready to quit my full-time job, so I took out a home equity loan, picked the date for my departure and began my coaching business full-time!
I am a certified creativity coach with the Creativity Coaching Association, a trained coach with the Coaches Training Institute (Co-Active Coaching), and a certified conscious leadership program graduate of New York University’s InnerMBA program with Sounds True.

I am also the solo parent of two teens living in Sleepy Hollow, NY, and currently producing a signature talk about braving creativity after big life change.
